A Writer's Job is Never Done

The first days of actual fall are finally upon us. October has rung in, and Halloween is about to strike. It's raining at my house, and the leaves are starting to turn.

I love this time of year.

The writing bug bites, and I disappear into my office to fill paper with various tales.

The urge to bake is strong. I find the smells of this time of year comforting and homey.

And yes, who doesn't want to stroll into a book shop and take in the scent of printed books? It's a drug I cannot give up.

What's New? What's Happening?

I am ready for the new release of My Four Fathers & Eleanor on October 30th. I am excited to meet new readers and sign books again.

I just received an email from my publisher with a release date of February 27th, 2026

for Catching Stars in Jars. It's a tale of longing and love. USA Today called it a "worthy weekend read."

I know there are many queries about the Grave Gifts series starter, The Twelve. I am currently awaiting the cover art and final formatting. It is moving forward.

God's Monsters is being recorded as an audiobook by the fabulous Harrison Beason, and as soon as I know, you dear readers will as well.

I am currently reworking Murder Through the Looking Glass into the same format as The Twelve, as it was written a decade ago, and everything has changed.

Hell's Beasts turned into a literal beast of a book, and I am in talks with the publisher about knocking it down to size.

I have also started an autobiography of sorts called Just Bill. It's the story of my grandad and our adventures.

Best Regards for now, and happy reading!
